A Suitcase Full of Parachutes

I stared Death in the face–
And it smiled back at me
It said ‘tss tss tss,’
You got dreams of living too lavishly
But can you blame me?
Cause I don’t blame YOU
You pick and choose,
Who you gonna remove from the crew
Some leave life too early–
Others their time is due
So if I ever own a plane,
I’ll have a suitcase full of parachutes
Because when things seem too good to be true,
It might be just because it’s just a dream that’s still new to you
